My overall take: I thought Piers contributed circular reasoning.

Pier believes he knows what happens after death. And he believes that the same that applies to him applies to Penn.

Okay, then I can say about what I believe happens after death. I believe that I don’t know what happens. And that the same that applies to me applies to Pier: that is, he doesn’t know.

Piers Morgans main argument is the god of the gaps. By the way at the end he makes a strawman argument respectively half-truth. He claims: "You cannot write a book basicly telling a bunch of people (...) who belief in a god: >You are all wrong, but by the way, I don't have any explanations.<"

There are 2 things wrong with it:

1) He offers no evidence that Penn can't do this.

2) He ignores that Penn also tells, that nobody knows.
